Our client is a globally recognizable brand that operates a few highly successful business divisions. The clients’ business provides crystal elements to global clients to be used in product applications as varied as electronics, fashion, and interiors. The business stands out from all its competitors not only with the quality and sheer variety of products, but even more so with the unparalleled brand experience and client support structures. In the Middle East, the company primarily services the traditional women’s fashion segment, deriving over 80% of its revenue from this sector. With a strong foothold in the Dubai market, our client also has a wide client base in other key markets in the region. There is still great potential for further growth, with markets such as Saudi Arabia offering far more scope for business. The client’s commercial philosophy revolves around building true brand awareness with clients, enabling them to sell the products experience onto end customers. Functions: - The Partner Support Manager (PSM) will be responsible for managing client relationships across the Middle East, with the primary goal of growing business revenues by providing advice and guidance to clients, as well as training them on everything from product ranges through to application. This is a role that will require extensive face time with clients, and the success of which will de dependent upon building strong relationships and an intimate understanding of client needs. The PSM will build up expert knowledge of both the clients’ product catalog, as well as trends and dynamics of the traditional fashion segment. He will use this knowledge in order to act as a brand ambassador and a trusted advisor to clients. The PSM will work closely with internal team members responsible for design and for sales, and will be a key component in ensuring smooth and profitable client relationships. The PSM will be proactively involved in producing marketing literature, and will also evaluate and cater to point-of-sale client needs. He will be responsible for producing market analysis that will enable the Head of Market Management to action appropriate growth strategies. Requirements: - We are looking for a passionate individual with strong interpersonal skills and an intuitive ability for consultative sales. The ideal candidate will have great personal charisma, and will be able to embody what our client stands for as a brand experience. The candidate must have the proven ability to build client relationships, and will bring along relevant experience in building/representing an emotional brand. This role requires a highly proactive individual who will follow market trends, anticipate needs, and take initiative for adapting the clients’ product offering to changing market demands. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly combine conceptual thinking with a very hands-on attitude, and will be able to move with ease from the glamorous world of fashion shows to the back-alleys of souks. Cultural savvy is essential for this role, enabling the candidate to translate the brand experience well for the local market, whilst also working effectively within an international and multicultural organization.
